About Dr. Monte S. Nyman

Dr. Monte S. Nyman taught religion and ancient scripture at Brigham Young University for more than 30 years, reaching thousands of students and lecturing on the Book of Mormon to audiences worldwide, including BYU Study Abroad programs. He served as director of Book of Mormon studies for BYU’s Religious Studies Center and as acting head of the Ancient Scripture Department.

He is also the author of Great Are the Words of Isaiah, An Ensign to All People, and The Most Correct Book: The Book of Mormon.
